Donate Gifts of Securities
Donations of securities allow you to help support us and receive a significant tax credit. A tax receipt for the fair market value of the donation is issued using the closing trading price on the day The Glenn Gould Foundation receives the security. As well, your donation is exempt from capital gains tax, which typically applies to the sale of a security. You can donate shares, bonds, bills, warrants and/or mutual funds traded in Canadian, American or major international exchanges to The Glenn Gould Foundation.
In order to initiate your gift transfer, please complete this form to send to your broker and return a copy to The Glenn Gould Foundation (please call 416-962-6200 ahead of faxing). Your broker will be able to provide certain required information such as the CUSIP and FINS numbers. Please note unexpected and/or unidentifiable transfers may make it difficult for the Foundation to issue the appropriate tax receipt. Your charitable gift receipt value is determined by the closing price on the day that the Foundation accepts the shares in its account.

Donate Aeroplan Miles
The Glenn Gould Foundation is a participating charity in the Aeroplan Beyond Miles charitable pooling program. Patrons can donate any amount of Aeroplan Miles to help directly support the travel needs of our ongoing work.

Giving a monthly gift allows you to spread your donation throughout the year. It’s easy to sign up and can be changed or cancelled at any time. Monthly gifts can be charged to your credit card or withdrawn from your bank account by post-dated cheques. A charitable tax receipt will be issued at the end of the year.
Planned Giving
