Your Impact as a Council Fellow
Your Fellowship in the Council will assist in activating a range of exciting initiatives by The Glenn Gould Foundation.
- Advance the life work of our Laureates through the prestige, visibility, support and performance, educational and outreach events generated by The Glenn Gould Prize.
- Extend the legacy of The Glenn Gould Prize Laureates by increasing the number of Glenn Gould Prize public events.
- Inspire children and youth from at-risk communities and special needs groups to learn from the Laureates’ achievements with our interactive educational activities.
- Showcase the work of more great visionaries by increasing the frequency of the Prize, from every three years to every two years.
- Captivate the public by using today’s technology-driven communication methods to build our community and reach our worldwide audience.
- Establish and present The Glenn Gould Lectures, an original and provocative speakers and performance series presenting the next wave of ideas on arts, media, and technology.
- Strengthen our society by developing lasting legacy projects inspired by our celebrations of the ideas and life work of The Glenn Gould Prize Laureates.
- Enable The Glenn Gould Foundation to develop the capacity to build collaborations and coalitions with major international stakeholders in the arts, sciences and education.
