Brian Levine
Executive Director
Since 2007, Brian Levine has been providing dynamic leadership and a new strategic vision to repositioning the organization and its signature project, The Glenn Gould Prize, as a leading world-level arts institution. He was co-founder of The Dorian Group, Ltd., a leading independent classical and world music label. A native of Toronto, Brian was educated at University College and University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
Clelia Farrugia
Director of Development
Multilingual executive Clelia Farrugia joins The Glenn Gould Foundation after holding senior positions with managerial, developmental and fundraising achievements in international arts organizations, including the European Music Office in Brussels, a pan-European organization representing the interests of the music sector in relation to the European Union. A longtime lover of the arts, she holds a degree in Business Management and a degree in Theatre Studies. At The Glenn Gould Foundation, she provides the leadership and strategic coordination of all fundraising efforts.
Victoria Buchy
Director of Operations
Victoria Buchy holds a BA in Music Administration and a Certificate in Writing from The University of Western Ontario. Her previous management experience includes subscription, fundraising and membership campaigns for various arts organizations. She is thrilled to be part of a team dedicated to celebrating and expanding Glenn Gould's legacy as an international icon of excellence in the arts. A singer and lover of all music genres, Victoria studies voice and is actively involved in Toronto's vibrant performance communities.
Penny Johnson
Contributing Author
Canadian pianist Dr. Penny Johnson is a contributing author for The Glenn Gould Foundation. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the Manhattan School of Music. Active as a performer in both the solo and chamber music settings, Penny has performed in recitals and master classes in North America and Europe and has also taught piano at the Manhattan School of Music, the Amati Conservatory, the Long Island Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is also a member of the College of Examiners for the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Adam Lazzarato
Web Coordinator and Social Media
Adam Lazzarato is the Web Coordinator at The Glenn Gould Foundation. Along with managing the website and handling several social media initiatives (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube), Adam is a third year student at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, studying Computer Science. Throughout his unforgettable time at The Glenn Gould Foundation during the summer of 2009, Adam has learned much about one of Canada's national treasures and to cherish Glenn Gould's music.
